Instruments are now proud to offer our latest range of affordable
instruments - the Freshwater 'Accord' range.
With these instruments we hope to be able to offer customers
with a limited budget the chance to own their very own brand
new quality handcrafted instrument made in Scotland at a extremely

The price is the same for any shaped soundhole, there is no difference
in cost. Left handed instruments are also available at no extra
cost. Instruments made in specialist timbers, such as rosewood,
are quoted for separately. The price list is for American black
walnut and mahogany timber, as well as maple. After you have looked

Every instrument is HAND MADE by luthier, David Freshwater, here in Scotland, and not factory made. We keep our prices down to our customers, as we only sell our instruments direct to the public.

Terms & Conditions
Any timescale given for completion of an order is a guide only, and so is to be counted as an approximate, due to the nature of making a bespoke instrument ( that carries certain unforseen circumstances that can arise and be out of the control of the maker ) to the customers' requirements.
Cancellation of an order will only be accepted at the discretion of the maker, (as instruments are customised to each individuals' specifications and are personalised for the customer),and has to be put in writing to our company first. If accepted, there will be a cancellation fee ( this applies to the main range of Freshwater instruments, aswell as the Freshwater Accord range ).
